The Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) covers up to $1,132 over two calendar years in basic dental services for eligible children aged 0–17. Most kids in family-tax-benefit households qualify. We bulk-bill the full amount — there's nothing out of pocket. Bring your Medicare card and we'll check eligibility on the spot.
Why baby teeth still matter
Baby teeth hold space for the adult teeth coming behind them, and decay in baby teeth can spread to the developing adult ones. They're also how kids learn to chew and speak — well worth looking after even though they fall out.
